FREEDOM FOUNDHER

A soul archive

for Black women reclaiming joy, health, and finding home in ourselves

This isn’t just a Blog. It’s a Homecoming.

I’m Jacinta, a writer, traveler, and truth-teller who’s lost over 100 pounds, left behind the life that was slowly breaking me, and found something softer, slower, and freer across the ocean in Portugal.

Freedom FoundHer is my soul archive. A space where I’m shedding what no longer fits and remembering who I was before the weight, the grind, and the noise.

This is for Black women healing in real time. For the ones still unfolding. For the ones reclaiming home in their bodies, their joy, their spirit.

Where The Story Keeps Unfolding

This isn’t just a space I write in; it’s one I live in.

If you want the soft moments, the real-time reflections, the in-between beauty, and the “I had to cry real quick” kind of truth, come find me here.

I share pieces of this life across platforms: the weight I let go of, the softness I’m leaning into, the stories I’m still learning how to tell.

Tiny truths and voice notes

A woman with braided blonde hair in a bun, wearing large round earrings, a nose ring, and a sleeveless orange top, taking a selfie outside a cafe or restaurant with a menu board and city street reflection in the background.

Soft moments in the middle of the noise.

A rocky beach with large cliffs on the left, the ocean in the center, and a partly cloudy blue sky

The real-time journey inward.

A woman with long, curly hair, wearing a yellow t-shirt and black pants, sitting cross-legged on a white blanket on the floor, with her eyes closed, holding her feet in a meditation pose. She has a name tag that reads 'Jacinta,' a smartwatch on her left wrist, and a water bottle beside her. A fan and beige curtains are in the background.
